Michael Locher is the director of finance at Rurka Homes, bringing over 30 years of finance experience across real estate asset classes including residential, commercial, mixed-use, multifamily and military base reuse projects. He has held strategic finance, accounting, portfolio management and systems leadership roles at respected firms such as Carmel Partners, Catellus Development Corporation, Lennar Urban and Landsea Homes. Michael’s expertise spans complex fund and corporate structures, delivering financial clarity and operational efficiency across the development lifecycle. He earned his degree in international relations with an emphasis in economics from the University of California, Davis, and is driven by a commitment to financial rigor in support of premier residential development.
